Join us for Flowers Stained glass workshop and learn to create a unique, stained glass ornament. What you'll learn? How to cut, shape and smooth stained glass following a pattern Apply copper foil and learn about burnishing Learn to use flux, tinning iron and about working safely How to use soldering irons to create a professional piece Clean and polish your piece! What's included? Step-by-step guidance and 1:1 support All materials, resources and equipment to create an ornament Unlimited teas/coffees/ soft drinks It's the perfect way to begin your stained glass journey and create something totally unique! Suitable for complete beginner's and those wanting to try a new craft and create beautiful, stained glass. Additional information Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop, this includes covered footwear (no sandals or open toes). Please note: If you are pregnant, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with solder can be harmful to the developing baby. Please do not wear loose clothing or dangly jewellery, as it may get caught in machinery. Long hair must be tied back. Please note that you will be standing up to work during the first half of the day on this course.
